His defence is just poor though- its why Fraser has been starting a lot more than him; lovely runner tbfAdam_P wrote:Though saying that...Banquo wrote:Fair enough, and I agree on the latter.Adam_P wrote:
This is all on the basis of my comment that I'd like to see Litchfield as a constant in our centres 'once he's bedded in'. I'm not meaning right now, this season. Indeed I think at the moment our best pairing is probably Dingwall and Proctor.

Yeah agreed, though I think it is improved this season. Like you say, he's a lovely player to watch going forward so it's a shame. Needs to absorb some of Dingwall's defensive ability - he makes some lovely reads in defence and conjures up some big shots from nowhere

Fraser hits great lines and has good pace, hands and decision making (eg chips through), but Hutchinson is natural runner. But I'd go for the better all rounder if pushed to choose. I think Fraser has looked very good at 12, with running, defence and decent distribution- and playing regularly has seen him look at home. Nice choices to have.Adam_P wrote:Yeah agreed, though I think it is improved this season. Like you say, he's a lovely player to watch going forward so it's a shame.
