We seem to be trapped in a terrible camera angle...
Phew, back to wide view.

Yeah, him and Grayson have been the pick of the backs. Good strong runners and decent lines.
And, as I say that, Arundel puts in another ridiculous run to set up an 80m try.

Can we get Arundel to play 12 asap please

Scotland can feel a bit hard done by there. We got given about 5 warnings for penalties close to our line and probably only escaped because they scored. Harsh yellow in the context.
Why did the 9 take that out the scrum?! Was going to be a pushover!

Oof. That will not be making it onto that Scottish 15's YouTube reel. Bought that dummy hook, line, sinker, rod, and copy of Angling Times.

I just want anything, anyone, even my cat (she is enjoying the game) to step up at 12

Scotland's 9 looks handy and better than ours, so I was quite surprised on googling to discover that he's actually English (or at least born and lives in England - Glen Gelderbloom's son). Wonder why he's not in a white shirt?

Apparently, Henry Arundell was at the cubs where my lad goes to, so should have ended up at Bath.

He was in the Tigers academy but was released and headed north of the border. I thought he was with Edinburgh these days.

Well, London Irish is the traditional route for playing for Bath.

Irish smashed the Welsh it seems. England need to be better.

That'd be why! When I googled, his first result was still his Tigers profile, but a longer google confirms he is indeed at Edinburgh.

The commentators don't appear to be cognizant of the concept that high winds give an advantage. Sitting there gumming about, "I think it took a long time into the game before England started to gel" and "Scotland didn't do as well in the second half", like the wind wasn't gusting at 30mph from left to right.

I had hoped for a while that Tigers would help redirect that pipeline to the East Midlands. Joseph Jnr and Arundell would fit right in with our backline.

First game and a lot of lads new to u20 so it was a bit scratchy at times.
When this side settles down and gets one or two of their better players back they could be very good.
Impressed with Lockett up front. Grayson looked sharp, Hendy good off the bench but Arundell looked something very special.

Mostly quite quiet, but he picked a gorgeous line to score his try. Did well enough, but overshadowed by a few blockbuster performances around him.
