From my limited viewing of his appearances at Toulon it was either sublime or ridiculous with little inbetween…. which seems true to form.

In his one season with Toulon, according to Wiki, he played 23 Top14 games and scored 24 tries, and therefore holds the record for most tries in a Top14 season, which is mightily impressive. He’ll undoubtedly have lost a yard or two of pace in the meantime but Borthers clearly thinks he can still perform at the top, starting this evening. I’ll be watching this evening with interest (if the stream works!)

Discuss
Discussion is pointless if Wigglesworth is selected ahead of him. Borthwick wants the ball kicked at every opportunity, presumably. Ugh.

That was clearly off Furbank's bicep not chest. Mitchell deserved it for the earlier break though, that was very nice to be fair to him.

Took ten minutes but Tigers finally play some rugby and Nadolo who looks like he's been desperate for a game was always scoring that.

What the hell is wrong with Tuala, keeps chucking the ball to no one

These daft, unnecessary penalties are killing us. So frustrating. Will never win games with such dumb ill discipline

I was just about to say Saints discipline is killing them. So much of it is so unnecessary, it's normally a mistake in defence and then an overcompensation thereafter that gives the penalty away.

Speaking of defensive errors that was awful from Tigers. Neat finish by Saints buy there's no excuse for that.

Really stupid by Wells. What were we saying about discipline.

Well it was an entertaining first half. Saints looked good at the start and end, and Tigers dominated the middle. Shame Furbank didn't pin his ears back or step inside when he was 1 on 1 with Ashton

Should also mention Ashton's try saver there, really good work. The pace hasn't completely gone has it. There's still some left in the tank. He out himself about in that little spell, defended like a winger at fullback as opposed to a proper fullback but that's knit picking.

I think he tried but knew he didn't have the pace.

Hutchinson and Dingwall are a pair of excellent centres and if they continue their elusive running, the match could easily sway Northampton’s way.

I would 100% bring Grayson on for Tuala at half time. Would help with the goal kicking, as well as the wild offloads to no where

Or Proctor for Tuala, I'll take that too

I think Tigers might bring Scott on around the 50 min mark and use his experience in the 13 channel to marshall the defence.

That's not contact in the air, what a load of bollocks from Foley the TMO.
