Solution - score on phase 1.

He’ll probably overtake Christie pretty quickly as no. 2.

Caleb Clarke looking like he’s turned 27 a few years early.

And clock beats scoreboard by 9.

Pass mark but no more against a team missing 43 tackles. Losing de Groot could be huge.

Yeah, really seems to have dropped off the boil. At one point he seemed able to rip through any team.

Another stopped shoulder charge on a prone player. How thick are these guys?

Clarke is big and powerful. He also has a decent turn of pace once he gets enough steam up. But he always looks a tad clumsy and lacking in footballing skills. Surely NZ have better wings for their WC squad (e.g.Stevenson).

Yeah I’m fairly perplexed by the lack of Stevenson in the squad.

A very similar red to the should-have-been red from France the day before. Yet no one draws a comparison. The pundits all agreed with the decision in the France match, they all agreed with the decision in this match. Consistency - that's what I like to see. :|

The bunker system should be a good innovation, but if you come out of a weekend with talking points and inconsistencies it rapidly becomes a farce. Especially if people are getting bans automatically for a red.

Edit: I thought both were red. No wrap on either.

Foster really isn’t too bright. Saying that the target area was the shoulder surely just says the player was going too high. With no wrap I fully expect a ban.

Yeah, but for me this is just the usual bad decision by an official, not a reflection on the bunker system (well I hope it doesn't get seen that way).

It saves time. In the France match it meant that the ref didn't have to waste his time coming to an incorrect decision - the bunker did it all for him. ;)

Just rewatched the second half (who books a zoom meeting at 4pm on a f'ing Friday), Clarke looks like he's lost license or confidence. At least 3 times he was given the ball in acres of space and instead of taking his man on he came back in or kicked. Someone needs to tell him he's allowed to have a go.
