It's a tactic this season.
You donty have to retreat, just retreat beyond 10m of where the ball lands (we do t always) and not advance until put onside - which includes the receiver running 5m

No arm tackle to the head on Heyes there as he went for the line. Think Chessum might have got that down as well, doubt they'll be an angle to show it.

Yeah there's been some good use of 5m run thing from Bath. To be fair that's clever.

That's someone's arms, but no idea whose, or from which team.

ETA, yep, wrist straps give it away

Yeah, I wouldn't say clear and obvious but as soon as Dickson started digging into it looked likely to be a yellow card.

Good finish from George Martin there.

As usual we make the change to play without an openside and then play dreadfully.

Dickson has already decided Bath will score a try at the end here

Predictably enough Bath's 2nds were no match for Tigers. They didnt help themselves with some dumb play a times. Thought Richards showed up well when he came on.
Ojomoh is a frustrating player. He's got talent to burn but makes some poor decisions and too often goes for the complicated when the simple will do. He set up Hennessey's try really well and put in a great kick to establish position for Bath to score their 3rd. More like that would be most welcome.

Funny on Richards he was playing and scoring for us last week, Top lad.

Richards looks good when I see him play, not really sure why he doesn't feature more for Bath. Young Harris and that massive boot of his at fullback looked mostly good. TdG showed some nice touches. Some positives for Bath.

Tigers got some minutes into Cracknell and Hatherall who've had injury problems. Hurd played decently off the bench. FTT was very lively off the bench. Was the sun extent of the second half positives for Tigers.

First half was better. Martin and Chessum looked a good second row combo which is great for the present and future. Simmonds looked excellent on return from injury as well which is brilliant as he's got real speed and a good skillset. First half was one interception away from pretty much perfect for Tigers. Shame the second half wasn't a continuation.

good lad, but tbh he's not been a standout in the couple of games for us.

Hard to keep up a high level of interest in what should be a keen contest when Bath field their reserves. I know players need a rest, but maybe not all at the same time. Still - interesting to see some new faces coming through.

Hopefully the level of banter was excellent and the owner of the flag had a good time.
