Not convinced he’s offside for that charge down.

Definitely should’ve been checked and I definitely would’ve moaned if it was.

Coles has veered back and forth between the sublime and the ridiculous.
He's a big powerful lad - but clumsy. Something that's quite hard to get rid of.

Clumsy and powerful aren’t the words I’d use normally about Colesy , but he’s not a 6. He’s got good hands normally, but remains a bit ‘rangy’ rather than powerful for his height- great engine tho. That said, have only seen the highlights.

How is Odendaal getting on? In the brief glimpse we had at Wasps he looked like he might be the answer to a lot of problems (on the pitch, at least)

This was only his second game for Saints - still looks like he needs more time to bed in with the rest of the backline and get used to how we play. Hasn't done much of note bar a few knock ons and some decent defensive work last week.

Too Many Burgers Odendaal? He was pretty anonymous until Slade gave him a Scottish kiss.

This match was a classic example of bad discipline costing games. Exeter conceded 14 points in each yellow card period. Splendid game for excitement. Reasonable game for skill. Bad game for decision-making. I suppose it demonstrated just how significant momemtum/confidence swings can be, especially when the players carded are so important in leadership terms.

Just caught the highlights. Some good tries and plainly great ebb and flow to the game. Great comeback from Saints, though Exe will be disappointed they let a big lead slip and then lost out at the end.
Mitchell looked very sharp.
