Yeah Daly is a weird one. If he'd been allowed to continue on the wing for England 2018-2020 ish and actually get used to playing fullback as he has now done with Sarries you feel both (he and England) would be in a better place.

How opposed would most be to seeing him at fullback for England now, if Furbank were injured?

For me he’d be next cab off the rank if Furbank was unavailable. He’s definitely lost a yard & there’s a mistake in him, but still a fantastic rugby player.

Tricky one- think Steward is working very hard on upping his all round game, and he remains absolutely rock solid under the high ball. Daly is our most all round skilled back three player imo, but I reckon he's down on the (unexpected) pace he used to have. Wouldn't be opposed entirely, but Steward is likely ahead, but they offer a different option I guess.

Tough to call it between Steward, Watson* or Daly

Haven't got around to watching the game yet, but not too unhappy with the result. Considering the players we had out to come close is pretty good.

A bit like the Gloucester game in that fewer stupid penalties and a more consistent kicker and we"d have won.
