Wow. Brilliant offload fools everyone, except Bedford LHP, who atepps the defence and runs it in from his own 22 (well, Bath's, but LHP)

Ah, well, never mind. There was a glorious 20mins in the second half to back up the first half tries and I think we represented the Champ very well. Gutted I couldn’t be there.

Banquo wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 3:55 pm bit of a joke this round....loan players pretty much all recalled.
What do you expect to happen? Loan players are in the championship for development. This development competition comes during the international period when all the clubs are short.

I'd prefer the competition to be under 23 with a restricted number of players over 23 allowed per each match day squad. Focus all clubs on keep developing players.
The Prem clubs didnt really want the cup and are making that point.
They need to listen to Bath’s motm post match interview…

You did, and should proud of yourselves.
Have us a real fright.

From a Bath perspective, 26:0 after 30 minutes.
Switches off

A good Bedford team came back into it.
A little panic when we tried to swirch back on.
Did manage to concentrate, and looked comfortable again for the last 20.

The post match interview with Worley and Conway also shows what a positive this comp should be. What rugby is really about at its core.
