Yep. I find it hard to say for sure he’s more deserving or proven than Baird, Wainright, Ritchie or Ben Curry, but he’s a perfect wildcard and could be a great counter to a Swain or Wright or whichever chippie Aussies are around.

Still not clear what test backrow is going to emerge from this Lions squad - particularly the No.8 - none in the squad selected feel a comfortable fit for this - would anticipate a CCS or Tom Willis call up to plug the gaping void

Is Conan injured now or something? He would seem the obvious front runner unless Farrell is buying in to Earl at 8.
