I'm fine with that being pen only (or even play on).
Absolutely no time, technically high, but chose to obey the laws of physics instead.

Lions are very close to playing lots of good rugby here, a couple more weeks/matches together and they might be very very good.

Geez that's poor from vdM, basics on controlling the ball on the floor straight out the window. Fantastic finish from the Pumas on the counter.

That first half a predictably woeful dog’s breakfast. Itoje, Beirne, Genge and Earl powderpuff impact and dreadful lineout. Not a hint of ball carrying

Some ok bits but some really poor stuff too.
Smith isn't a 15 and it has showed. Freeman was miles out of position for their 1st try and missed tackles. Duhan has to hold onto the ball better even though it was a well taken try.

Really close to clicking, really close to disaster. It's exciting at least.
I feel the centre combo isn't at the sum of its parts. Smith seems to be hitting Freeman or Smith more than akipolutu.
Forwards seem to be feeling their way through things but Earl has dwindled while Morgan seems to be becoming more prominent.
Need to score first now.

Yep. Feels like a barbarians game at this point.
Some good moments from both sides but Argentina so much more accurate.

Lions want to get a coach who tells the players how to not to throw the ball away

Argentina #1 looks like an inflated Finn Russell.

Freeman steps in instead of holding his width. Normally a tell tale sign he's not trusting his inside man, needs to get over that quickly. Creates the space for the try. Otherwise he's been one of our better backs. Marcus has been in iffy form all season, he's very lucky to be on form ahead of Tom Jordan. Duhan looks rusty, he's struggled.
Genge has been very good as has Beirne.

Curry looks completely shagged. Lol. Just repeatedly standing in front of the ball carrier out on the wing.
Weird game. Not been very impressed with Fin Smith, but clearly they’re trying to fling it about a bit and there’s no cohesion anywhere. Plus the heat.
Freeman has been class, it’s been almost like having a number 8 on the field.

Itoje looks cream crackered too... Understandably.
Yes, clearly offloading is the thing but it would better if they realised they should avoid the blue shirts.

Also, I can see why they took Pollock. His attitude is infectious. He's living his dream.

Yeah its weird tactics from the Lions, like they're trying to play champagne rugby instead of just concentrating on getting the basics right, its led to far too many individual mistakes.

Kelleher missing his man at the line out is not something you see often.
Scott Cummings is on. Bring it home, son.

Big ask for a young flyhalf to adapt to a midfield he doesn't know in a game where there's no chance to go through the phases like he's used to with Saints. He's going to need to offer a lot more in the coming weeks if he wants to oust Russell.

Interesting to see Squidge is now on the level of ex lions players when it comes to being picked out by the cameraman.
Is anyone from Dublin there? It feels like it's just former players.

Awful and certainly worst Lions performance I can remember
Where to start:
Itoje too taciturn and clueless for this job
Earl proved yet again that he doesn’t have the physicality or power to play no.8 in a test match
Pollock (one turnover aside) looked completely lost
Line out ropey and only Genge (in second half ) managed a carry
Center pairing less than the sum of its parts
Lions losing more pocession than a pub team with Lager for half time fuel
Worst of all a lot of this was predictable the split second Farrell’s squad was released and Farrell Senior making Steve Borthwick look like Carwyn James! Don’t want him anywhere near England job in future

Well played Argentina, fully deserved win!
Any idea when you'll join the circus properly and host a tour?
