Personal working theory.
Dislocated shoulder, popped back in, so painwise is okay - but lacking the finer points of control, and possibly some sensation in the fingers.

That or he's in panic mode, looking up before the ball arrives, not thinking straight, relying on his instinctive skills rather than trained etc...

Are these really the best players in England? Playing in their best positions? This is poor. Never been a fan of Eddie. He has been given the benefit of doubt for far too long.

BTW, the usual suspects (cough, EP, cough) won't like this...

But against an organised defence, we cannot find a way through pretty much exclusively because our runners always have to stop and wait for Ben Youngs to decide to pass the bloody thing.

He's abysmal.

On other notes...it's hard to pick out good performances, but extra special mentions for crapness go to Sinckler, Youngs, Farrell, and unfortunately Furbank.

Others who get a mention are Marler, George, Itoje, Ewels, Lawes, Curry.

Which is...2/3rds of the team and all bar 1 of the pack.

Was that commentary statement about Tuilagi for real? If there were two centres on the bench to cover him carrying an injury it defies belief.
