The Fail have promoted Beard back to the pack. Maul defence aside I don’t see why. I’d start with Towlands and Jenkins with Christ on the bench.

Our pack has been much more mobile,
We just need to ensure we have our big carriers in play, which Rowlands and Lake give us as a start in the front 5.
Sheedy is considerably better than Costelow or Thomas IMO. As long as he starts OK in Cardiff, he should be the go-to guy.

That could be a big if. Reports in the Fail and elsewhere are that Grace has had an operation on a hamstring following the summer tour.

Mostly the reports would have come from Bath

Regan suffered an injury to his hamstring playing for Wales against Queensland Reds in the last game of the national side's summer series. Regan has undergone surgery and begun a rehabilitation process under the guidance of Bath Rugby's medical team to work towards confirming a return to competition date in due course.

That’s not good. Presumably a repetition of the same injury that buggered up his time in France? For a player of his type that could be very limiting.

Hopefully it’s fixable.

Thankfully not the same injury - that was to his achilles, not his hamstring.
