In terms of Hooker
Barbeary (Wasps)
Riley (Quins)
Vanes (Tigers)
All look very promising in their different ways.
Barbeary - Extremely dynamic and powerful player
Riley - More the modern day style hooker in his play, very quins style excellent offloading game in the loose.
Vanes - More the older school mould very physical mould.
Interested to see how they do at senior

Re: England forward pack as things stand
Seems sort of relevant in case anyone is interested.
Is it confirmed whether he is off yet? I’m up and down on whether he is a top, top player, but for all Launch and Lawes offer their own fantastic USPs they don’t fulfil the modern 5 role of leading all the set piece work and allowing Itoje to run around being a bastard.
I think this is partly why perhaps why EJ has been so interested to look at Ewels? I’m not sure he’s got the chops for the top level but he has a very good all round game.
Just to add I haven’t actually read the article yet but it sounded interesting, and I see now it says on the tweet above he is definitely off to Japan.

Yep. Plenty of quotes explaining why he’s leaving, he’ll only comeback to Sarries etc etcMikey Brown wrote:
