Ah. I think ye may be due a refund on your subs to Optimists Anonymous!
How did Rory, CJ and Darren get on today? Did they all or any of them train?
Not that it much matters, for Connor really is the key. No harm to Duncan, who hardly put a foot wrong against Toulouse, but these Saracens fellahs are a different bucket of herring entirely.
I'd be inclined to suggest that we worry about starting without any of these four and then take every one of them declaring fit as a bonus.
I was impressed with Deysel against Glasgow; but not quite as impressed with him against Ulster and if CJ is fit, its POM, Tommy and CJ with Jack on the bench. Greisel had a fecking mare and if Connor isn't going to make it then Duncan to start with the Llulster-boy on the bench is better than we'd have hoped for by way of a back up at the start of the season.

... and if that back line starts, would you really consider Saili ahead of Conway on the bench? If anything he'd nudge Ian out of the picture, given that Rory can cover 10 if needed.

Its instinctive. I'm at work and therefore all thinking capacity is supressed.

Yesterday was a horrorshow alright, i'm hoping they trained Saturday or something!! We will beat clare though our backs are plenty good enough, Nash will be a big addition when he starts

Lads! Its grand ye trying to distract us with the hurling, so - but FFS!
Did ye not hear that they've called a giniril hiliction in Belfast, so they have? Its time to dig the Mausers out of the prattie shed and seize the dole office.

Munster: Simon Zebo; Andrew Conway, Jaco Taute, Rory Scannell, Keith Earls; Tyler Bleyendaal, Duncan Williams; Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, John Ryan; Donnacha Ryan, Billy Holland; Peter O’Mahony (Capt.), Tommy O’Donnell, CJ Stander.
Replacements: Rhys Marshall, James Cronin, Stephen Archer, Dave O’Callaghan, Jean Deysel, Ian Keatley, Francis Saili, Darren Sweetnam.
No SH on the bench. Presume that's based on the understanding that if we can beat Ulster with a hooker at outside centre, we can beat Sarries with Deysel at 9?

Clearly Darren needs the extra 40 minutes to get over the bang on the head, Vin is an altogether bigger chunk to climb over than Jack and Dunc is playing so far beyond anyone's expectations of him this season, there's not a chance of needing to replace him.

Travelling with low expectations, as long as we bring it I'll be happy enough. We looked seriously out gunned, POM to end up on the wing at some point?

Delighted we won but can't say we deserved it. Jersey were much the better side in the first half

There's chat on UltimateRugby of massive jams on the N7 and possibility that half of the 16th man will struggle to make it for kick off!

Saracens masterful in their subtle combination of cute hoordom and clinical finishing
disappointed but not surprised, its a hell of an achievement considering the group we were in and the level of our performance at the beginning of the season
