If it's involvement, then he's mitigated. If it's changing of line, then Nowell's screwed.
ETA: I don't think they've got that right TBH, but I'm not complaining.
IMO they squeeze him, but they don't change their line.
Mind you Peyper said "if they don't change their line" but then he invented a new one (for me) of "Penaud crossed the line of the ball"

That doesn’t even look like a penalty to me. Maybe to England

That is a comedy decision from the TMO, but we'll take it.

Well that's a HUGE let off for Nowell.
So many errors and we're backing them up as well.

The thing is, this isn’t bad decisions by one or two players, this is the entire team queuing up to make mistakes.
That comes from leadership. This performance is all on Jones.

Who is captain?

At least our one tactic of kicking the ball high for Steward to catch is working well. Shame we don't have any other parts of a rugby team to go with it.

Surely this is the end of Nowell? He’s just too fragile. He comes off injured every bloody game, which means we can’t replace furbank now.
Just goes to show what a terrible selection this is.

Smith put it on a dish through that massive gap.

Can anyone tell me what Smith did that was brilliant there?
He ran diagonally, jumped in the air, committed 0 defenders, and shipped the ball on to Furbank having stolen his space.
