He did indeed seem to be checking much more than he has in the past before box kicking
Dithering, dallying, stalling, faffing, pondering, and indeed 'checking' was what he was doing mostly.
In other games, not so much this one.

What I'd like to hear from him about is where he was box kicking from. For the right footer it's easier to kick down the right touchline, but Youngs made 75% of his kicks down the left. Is that just how it happened, kicking to Earls rather than Stockdale, or kicking with May more reasonably able to chase?

According to the French rugby webpage Rugbyrama (link below), the training session with the Georgians in Oxford apparently degenerated into a big punch-up in front of about a hundred schoolboys. For the moment, I can find nothing in the British press.
Has anyone of you guys heard anything?
