It wasn't in the first 30 mins or so- but in fairness they spent most of that time when in possession ceding the tackle line.

Italy have Scotland at home next, on the 22nd. Reproduce some of that form today and they may well earn a rare 6N victory.

He was part of an Italian team today who didn't support their phase play
So given he was a primary ball carrier, how does that make him accountable? They also bucked their ideas up after 30 mins.

It would be interesting to look at their assignments, and what he was doing when not carrying (or tackling, which he did tons of as well).
They seemed to have two primary carriers in the backrow and one chap there to watch what was happening so god knows what was going on, but if all we went is a carrier Dombrandt looks up to that, maybe Polly can do more, but maybe so can Dombrandt. I can see why people might like Polly available to the squad, but given how much we'd likely use him I'd rather things have worked out like that have

kinda moot really. Polledri has a great engine and think he is a very good player impressing in a weak intl team- I sense he is very coachable.

You think he’d parrot his coach’s instructions?

I get why you'd want Dupont, not so sure what you think we're missing at 10. Ntamack has at least been kicking much better from hand, so far, but he's not at Ford's level

This French side is looking special.Their forwards and backs are all comfortable handlers and then there’s the shear ballast of their pack. Two of the locks playing today were 130kg+ makes 115kg Itoje and Kruis look puny by comparison!

I thought Ntamack was really good. As for the French wing Teddy Sheringham ..... pony

One can only hope.....

How refs continually indulge his behaviour is beyond me. Mind you, there is far too much yap from far too many players nowadays.

Teddy has been shocking in defence through the 6N. And I do like Ntamack, I just wouldn't even waste a second wondering if I'd swap him in for George, even if Romain speaks better English
