I’m on honeymoon at the moment so relying solely on what I’ve read, but it sounds to me as though:

Wales vs. Italy - Wales looking slick and more dynamic under Pivac with the caveat that Italy were dog$hit

Ireland vs. Scotland - bit of a cripple fight with neither team showing up well

France vs. England - France looking dangerous and securing a very good win, England clueless

Is that a fair summary?

Murrayfield next week is now a massive game for us. Hopefully we get back on track before facing Ireland and Wales at home.

France have Italy next so another win is highly likely. If it’s as convincing as Wales’ they’ll build some good momentum, but I’d still fancy Wales to win at home.

Steady. If that game had been 90 mins instead of 80 Eng might have sneaked it. Injuries hurt your day. SH and FB were poor. Sort those two positions out and you'll be fine. Farrel probably needs a break. You should have grabbed Tompkins before we did!

Fair enough. Curry is good, but not an 8. It's odd. Blues, Scarlets, Ospreys and Dragons. All would get (and have been) humped by the top 5-6 English clubs. And yet Eng don't seem able to distill the best of that into a team that should be far far better than Wales.

Curry I thought was okay as a player if not an 8, possibly the only one to earn a pass mark.

Shit selection, shit tactics, shit performance. Exactly how one weights those is a bit of a problem.

Just rewatching the tries, staggered by all 5 English players - May the principle culprit - appealing to the ref as France played on for ‘player’ (eh) of the match to score his second try.

Now the positives! We've just witnessed the overdue renaissance of the French XV, and I for one, as an Englishman in France for many a year, am as pleased as punch! Don't get me wrong, I support England against whoever, but today they took a "fessée", or a spanking, and there's only one person responsible - Eddie, now's the time to think about your next job, cos your time's up at HQ! Sure, the match was brutal, as you had quite rightly said it would be, but when the boot's on the other foot, eh!!!!

Annoying as fuck that. Mostly for me that we failed to execute in the 22 and failed to chance personnel when those starting were not cutting it.

Credit to Genge, LCD, Ludlam off the bench. Lawes standout by a mile. Curry, one scrum aside actually controlled quite well, but as a pack we were totally absent. Both scrum halves were poor, but equally we weren’t clearing the ruck well or providing options. Ford was poor as was Farrell and losing Manu really hurt us. Furbank, fair play came back well in the second half. Nothing spectacular but he seemed to realise he could actually play.

Jonny May outstanding in attack but it did take solo genius to get anything. Close to the line the forwards were utterly clueless.

People will pinpoint Lawes at 6 being a problem, but that doesn’t lose lineouts, that doesn’t cause brainfarts, that doesn’t cause the rest of the pack to shut off. That doesn’t cause your support and clearance to fail. It doesn’t cause your fly half to make bad decisions. It doesn’t cause your backs to drop ball after ball. That’s not selection it’s execution.

I'm more with epamidemus. Yes changes need to come but it's not as bad as it initially looked. Francey had a first half when virtually everything came off it felt. So it goes sometimes
