Gonna be some difficult choices this week. But if Genge, Williams and RapuvaR are all fit, I can use Sinckler's cash to boost my backs, or my 8.

Tough choice, got to pick 3 of 4 players for the outside backs...

Injuries and rotation are brutal. I've got four hookers, yet I may have to dip into the market for another!

I'm seriously considering spending 60 points on transfers and doing a bit of restructuring of my squad. Anyone else used the extra transfers yet?

I have no need. I guess my squad is reasonably balanced. Got 750k to spend now I sold Sinckler.

Smug git!

I've not needed the extra transfers and have generally been able to select, rather than just opt for "an XV that's starting", although I'm a little stretched this week. If R-R or Mulipola start, then I can make a XXIII of starters, although I've got £300k to spend with the dismissal of Sinckler which I may use to improve. Not sure whether to spend it on a prop or McGuigan.

I canned 4 players last week. In hindsight I picked too many players to begin with.

It’s debatable whether I really need anyone other than a replacement for Sinckler, so I’ve not actually reinvested my left over cash yet.

I’m also thinking that I may jettison Gopperth after this weekend. I figure his boot is only useful if Wasps score tries and right now, they’re not. I don’t see them getting much of a sniff against Saracens this weekend either. The only reason I haven’t canned him yet is that I don’t want to lose the 20 points.

Generally speaking, I think it’s best to get as many starters in the 23 as possible. Considering that the points for subs are halved, the chances of a player getting more points across 50 minutes or more is much better than a sub with 30 or less minutes to rack up a score.

Just to defend myself a little, I've been hit a little by the injury stick. I've lost 4/8 back rows, 2 out of four hookers(and one of the others is no longer automatic first choice, and 2 out of five props.

Although in hindsight I picked too many players to start.

I could stick put a side out, but I'm wondering if gambling that a new player will score 20 points more than the guy he is replacing is worth it?

Well you're the one ahead on the leaderboard!

Gopps may be worth keeping since he's often a top tackler in the backs for Wasps, and if they're not going well, that could be a lot of tackles.

Wade is the one I'm looking at, without someone pulling the strings properly, I'm not sure how many he's going to get on the end of until Cips is back. I know which player I plan on bringing in, and he's not cheap, so Wade may have to be the one to go. I'm not looking forward to internationals taking away my players!

It’s a tricky one. If I got rid of Wade, I have a pretty clear idea who I’d replace him with and it would also leave me with some change. On the other hand, if I do that, I feel like I’m bound to be kicking myself when he starts racking up the tries.

yeah, I'm keeping hold. He's likely to be the one to miss out of my back 3 for this weekend, but he'll be right back in against lesser opponents/when the internationals are away.

Looking at the teams, pick Sarries, Tigers and Chiefs players this weekend!

Well, done some more trading, fired one player, brought in 2 more. Bit of a gamble on one of them, less for this week, more as a potential long term, but we'll see how he does.

Still got Wade, but that's mostly due to him being my best option on the bench (i.e. he's actually playing some part this week). May fire him next week. Gone for May for captain, Veainu was another option.

Taken another 20 point hit as I'm short back rows and locks this week. But hopefully that sets me up a little better for the rest of the season.

Reviewing the form of my players, they're nearly all a 7. Struggling to break into the higher grades!

I've held off in the end and swapped Sinckler for yet another hooker (taking me up to five, although one doubles as a prop).

I reckon I'm likely to swap 20points for another transfer next week, just not sure who to jettison.

I'm yet to decide what to do...

Could go for a prop, but who? Could add a backrower, but with Simmonds back, that's pretty full again...

I could try for a big scoring center, but who the hell could that be?

Keep the cash if there's no-one that'll improve you this week?

Yeah, I'm leaning that way. But also may go for Koch or Mako...

Hmm, Mako for another high scoring game as captain, or try May/Veinu to score a ton?

Anyone else struggling to go and look at their squad again and make changes in light of lineups being announced?

Struggling as in simply can't be bothered that is

Definitely agree on Sarries. That Wasps team is a poor imitation of their best lineups. Unfortunately for me, I only have one Saracens player (Lozowski) but he’ll be starting this week.

Not so sure I agree on Chiefs though. Newcastle are playing their regular settled side. I’d expect a home win, but certainly not a drubbing.

Surely the smart money is Bath opening up a can of whoop-ass at home against Worcester?

The only problem I have with that is that I have 0 Bath players!

My side is a real mixture this week so I’ve got a vested interest in all of the games except Bath vs. Worcester.

Still enjoying it myself, could cover about 21 shirts straight off, found I had 200k to spare, so improved the 22 shirt, fired an injured player, and used the funds to improve the 23 shirt.

Yet another last minute drop out for me with Horwill. I may as well concede 10+ points per week just for the hell of it.
