Laidlaw, Russell & on occasion Hogg's hesitation to commit to a ruck whilst understandable is a bit of a problem. There's been some occasions when that half a second of hesitation has left the ruck a body light & the saffas have managed to turn it over or slow it down significantly.

I think Nel & Reid are struggling today & would change them at the break.

He may have had a chance to catch it but he didn't try to catch it.

Depends how McCallum develops and Allan, Bhatti and Sutherland play the rest of the season. Likely to be 2LHPs plus one that can play either side that goes.

Why isn't Wilson screaming for that/Gray leaving it for him?

Equalise, fluff the restart and concede points. This happens all the time. Do we really think Jones or Schmidt would stand for this crap time and time again?

I wish we had G Horne on the bench. Gaps are starting to open up around the fringes but Laidlaw hasn't tried to keep them honest once.
