Saw Jordan Peele's follow-up to 2016's sublime Get Out, Us.

He's knocked this one out of the park as well, telling a disturbing and somewhat sad story about an upper middle-class family coming under attack from their own dopplegangers.

Much like how Get Out focused on the underlying tensions between white America and black America, Us focuses on the inequality that has become ingrained in American society, and the lack of attention or care given towards the marginalised.

Like when they cut that guy in half by hacking through his crotch whilst holding him up by his ankles?

Is there some good reason that someone would put themselves through watching that?

I watched Split yesterday the film where James McAvoy has 23 personalities, ~I put this off as thought it would be a bit full on but he only reallt does about 5 characters and a couple have very small bits, it's pretty good tho I'm unsure how it links to Unbreakable.

It only "links" with Unbreakable at the very end (Bruce Willis talks about Mr Glass in the bar) - it's just set in the same world. They link in the 3rd one "Glass"

The movie is better than it sounds from that.

Aye, I did notice that, so Glass is about Bruce Willis trying to apprehend James McAvoy, seems a little bit sketchy.

Deadwood, wrapped things up,could have done with making it 5 years ago, a few of the actors weren't as effective as previous

I've seen this a gazillion times now. Stirring stuff.

Sublime shot of the Spitfire preparing to engage the Heinkel @ 2:00.

I find Timothy Olyphant to be very wooden which is a shame because most of the cast are pretty good.

I’ve just started the original series and his acting is quite hilariously bad. That or he is just on a totally different wavelength to everyone else, tone/direction wise. It’s strangely endearing though.

The Dead Don’t Die. Dreadful. Avoid at all costs. Painfully bad.
