Does that put Warriors in behind Saracens as the English club with most Heineken/Champions Cup winners on its playing staff?

Jaysus, but the backs did their best to make a game of that.

Can't see the Déise tripping up today and after yesterday's showing I'd say they're the only side standing between a Galway vs Cork day out in September.

Tipp need to find another half a dozen Maher boys if they're to plug those holes at the back.

Waterford with their noses ahead at the half and not giving Cork any space at all. Contrast between the way Clare stood off and the Déise making them struggle is simple but critical.

Game turned on the 2nd yellow and a 2-goal blitz job. 5-point gap with 10 to go. Looks like we're in for the first meeting of The Tribesmen and The Déise in a Liam.

Great work by Waterford. They worked their way around the Cork sweeper and then made the most of the man advantage to blatter them. Got to feel sorry for the young Gleeson lad; moment of idiocy when the game was won costs him the chance to play in the final.

He is. His testimonial/retirement dinners will be a right laugh. I saw some photos of a dinner for Serge Betsen a few years ago, interesting mix of players were there and much fun was clearly occurring. Maybe it was Charvis's dinner and Serge was there..?. Anyway...Strings was also attending. Tom Rees as well.

Where's JJ? Are they still weaning him off the pie habit he picked up in Northampton?

It'll be good to see how Farrell and Grobler go.

And where the feck have you been all summer?

I think JJ picked up a minor knock in pre season.

Still think we're light a solid tighthead. Relying on John Ryan to stay fit or this Clarke lad to be decent.

Most interested in seeing how Chris Farrell goes.

I left Chris Cloete out if my squad list too. I think he'll push TOD out of the team. He won't arrive for a month though.

Of course this is the right place. You were here yesterday and every day for the 3 or 4 months before that. STM is clearly failing.

Not sure how much we can really draw by way of conclusions after two pretty thumping wins to start the season. Treviso were as feeble as expected but at least gave us something to think about in terms of defence. Cheetahs were abysmal and while I recognise all of the reasons why this might have been so and the probability that they and the Kings will eventually turn up with a full deck, what the feck do they think they are on sending out a bunch of lads that frankly performed like a school XV.

You can, of course only play what's in front of you, but we'll find out next week in Swansea whether the performances of the likes of Andy, Alex, Jean and Jack (the stand-outs so far for me) were flattered by the frailties of the opposition. Can't believe that I am seeing the negatives in a whoppingly positive start to the season.

And good luck to Dan in getting on the road to a full recovery.

Feel like our season will depend on the fitness of Kleyn. Without him, our second row looks weak/callow.

Just watched the recording of the game. Lots of good stuff in the first half and I think it was less to do with Ospreys being poor than Munster being pretty good / with the obvious exception of Tyler's kicking from the tee.

2nd half the wheels fell off the lineout and Tyler started to add a few woefully poor kicks from hand to his poor place kicking. I think Ospreys showed some positives but they don't seem to have the stomach for the grunt and it is difficult to see where their turnaround is going to come from.

We won't get past Glasgow next weekend leaving 8 points on the tee.
