Anyone else got a sickening and undeserved sense of excitement/optimism creeping back in?

Nope. We're getting dumped out in the QFs even if we go through. Undercooked, mentally weak, defensively poor, unfit and poorly coached.Mikey Brown wrote:Anyone else got a sickening and undeserved sense of excitement/optimism creeping back in?

Listening to GT speak before the game here gives me the shivers... he's acknowledging they kick more than before but saying its a great way of getting good ball to our attacking players. Thats right, kicking possession away is the best way we have of getting good attacking ball to our best players. Just fck off GT

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Great start. Why weren't we allowed to try and win that after the tackle went to ground?

What the fuck was that from Laidlaw? Did we have advantage at some point? I thought that Samoa knockon got missed? What a waste.

The kind of possession, territory & intent that really does need to be yielding points. Even if it's 3. 64% in both stats in our favour.

Bradbury is more physical than Wilson/Barclay. It's astonishing.

We had the advantage but for some reason the ref decided that the kick had utilised it. Laidlaw was evidently looking for the scrum.Mikey Brown wrote:What the fuck was that from Laidlaw? Did we have advantage at some point? I thought that Samoa knockon got missed? What a waste.

Why is taking your eye off the ball, juggling it and nearly dropping it "good skills" from Russell. Good skills would be just catching the perfectly simple pass.

Scotland committing absolutely no-one to the ruck. Interesting.

Yup. Clearly signaled advantage. Poor call from the ref, can't blame Laidlaw much for that one.switchskier wrote:We had the advantage but for some reason the ref decided that the kick had utilised it.
