Hmm I can see the saints story being true tbh
What welsh team really needs Thomas?
He's on loan to Llanelli at the moment, isn't he? I had assumed it was the first step to making a permanent switch.
I hadn't heard about Saints being after JWillis? Seems an odd match, given that they have Lawes and Ludlam as home-grown guaranteed starters in at flanker - he's hardly someone who can cover the international periods. TWillis, on the other hand, would make a *lot* of sense.

and Hinkley.
(what happened to hinkley

)
However, Willis (x2) and Ludlam imo would actually combine pretty well.

Dammit - I knew I was getting it wrong, but my brain couldn't work out how.

I wonder if Jack might be holding out a bit to see where Tom ends up?
In other Wasps news, Minozzi has gone to Benetton until the end of the season, and then a two-year option after that. Carr is back in SA with the Bulls.

England have given J Willis a bespoke training plan. Could he be the first centrally contracted player?!?!

If Jack Willis signs I suppose that scuppers Hinckley's chance of a permanent contract.

Johann van Graan and Victor Matfield both with notebooks, stood in front of Farleigh House.
Or "A JPG" if you prefer a more sarcastic answer.

Aha. Had Matfield moved in to coaching already or would this be a new venture. Don't tell me he's still playing.

Confident he's not still playing; but I don't know what he's been doing since - though Wiki says he has done a little coaching (with JvG) before - but quite a while ago.
For all we know, he's just visiting a mate and being shown around the grounds.
Rumours are (shockingly enough) that he's doing some coaching, probably lineout - whether as a short-term consultant, or long-term replacement for Charteris is anyone's guess.

Without reading too much into it, VM's in Bokke stash. So either's he's visiting as he's in town with them, or he hasn't bought any new clothes in a while. Each is equally possible.

Ryan Mills going up to Sale according to latest Wasps carcass picking rumours. Could be a rather good partnership with Ford as and when.
The highly rated, but so far not really delivered, Simonds went to Chinnor in Nat 2.

Bath interested in Barbeary. Saracens too.

But Toulouse apparently the favourite to sign him.

Depends how long Toulouse are going to sign him for. If they get him until the summer it might free up space for a Prem club to come in and sign him long term.

According to the Telegraph Bath favourites to get his long term signature, with Sarries sniffing around too. Toulouse likely to be his destination for the rest of this season once fit in December.

Hill, Underhill, Barbeary would certainly be abrasive.

Well Ted Hill is normally pretty durable and Bath are used to dealing with players missing for lengthy spells.

If you can keep him fit being the sadly key part of that sentence. Does cover 10 and 12, not sure Sale are that depleted in that area unless either Curtis and Wilkinson are injured or generally not fancied. Ford still due for a December comeback?

Curtis currently preferred over Wilkinson but neither have really progressed to the extent hoped for by now. Have to question how much longer we give them before we look at other options. Last word was Dec for Ford but may be lucky to see him before Jan I suspect
