Lost 21-0 to the boks

A total joke of a performance vs the boks, lost 21-0. In recent years we had developed sevens squads who could not compete atheletically but had good skills and were really well drilled. The current seven’s squad is more athletically gifted with some pace and evasiveness but is just utterly, utterly brainless. Additionally it is weighed down by total no-hopers, dead wood without any talent or skills whatsoever such as Alec Coombes. Literally every time he gets near the ball we either turn over possession or squander opportunities. I just cannot see what the selectors see in him, he is slow, lacks power, has poor hands, lacks vision.
Gavin Lowe seems to have the natural ball handling abilities & pace that Scott Wight lacked but shows precious little understanding of how to breakdown a sevens team running down blind alleyways and gettting turned over or throwing impossible passes to no-one.
We were down 14-0 with 3mins remaining and the team was ambling around with no urgency whatsoever, just bizarre. It was one of the worst SA teams I have seen but man, we brought a whole new level of ineptness to the game. It annoys me as they should be much much more competitive than they are.
