16 mins youtube time or match time.
Because he 100% goes off at 10 mins in with a bruised leg.

I'm going to probably dribble through it. Want to see Eastmond. From there little ive see benneton look much mote cohesive but it's their second run out.
Too save you time Eastmond only played in the first 10.
Yeah, why was he taken off so early? I skipped through it after about 15, so I missed his exit. Was it an injury?

Mixed results for the Prem clubs.
Wasps lost 43-10 at Connacht and Quins lost 50-17 at Glasgow. Saints did well at Dragons, winning 42-10

A few Prem teams hoping Pre-season is really only just pre-season.

Never expect much froma first run out. Especially against a side that's already had one. Would have liked a stream though. Wanted to see how a few players went.

Yeah - Wasps’ result makes me feel slightly better but the side Quins put out wasn’t a total reserve side. Very worrying!

Wasps and Tigers had pretty decent teams out too.
Pre-season TBF isn't the best way to judge how things will go especially with all England players away.

The final Pre-season game is the only that tends to matter IMO even then it depends on the opposition as well.

I remember last season Tigers got a good win v Ospreys away then smashed Treviso and Ospreys again by 40 odd points, then we had a right shit start.

14-12 to Glos at half time. Owen Williams looking good, as are the young front row. Wholesale changes for 2nd half no doubt.

Wasps could be argued to have 2 starters starting and another 2 on the bench I'd guess. Hopefully next game will see a few more.

You have no idea what clubs are doing in training at the moment either, especially those that are playing games away/on tour. Could be smashing fitness and running (and boozing!) right up the day before games.

I distinctly recall hearing that one club last pre season held a hard fitness session the morning of a game.

Bedford 15 v 57 Sarries. Was closeish until the last half hour. Taylor and Malins went well, as did Kpoku when he came on. Carrick-Smith and Skelton stood next to each other was ridiculous. Sarries’ Tongan human wrecking ball no8, whose name escapes me, came on with 20 mins to go and ran through everyone and ended two Bedford players’ matches.
Most importantly the sun shone and Bedford made a bucket load of cash.

Oh yeah. Thomas Young was there. Probably means absolutely nothing at this stage of the season but.....well, I’ve no idea.

First half was 7 - 19 to Bristol, with a complete team change for both in the second half. Two late scores, a penalty try for one of them, sealing it for Scarlets. No idea what the sides like for each half so little to learn from a fans perspective.

17-29 to Glos full time. 5 tries scored, Grobler, Williams, sharples, Purdey, Gleave.

Polledri motm, vellacott played well, scrum looked strong, good signs everywhere.

Quins started with more or less our first choice back line minus Brown and Visser.

A few less first choices in the forwards but players who will be in the 23 not just squad fillers.

Really concerning TBH.

Given that Gustard is first and foremost a defence coach, conceding 50 points is an absolute horror show.

Bloody hell. Give him some time to get things settled. Tweaking a successful defensive system is hard enough. Rebooting last season's effort may take some time. That said, overall performance may be an issue. Assistant to head coach is a big leap.

Have you seen the Glasgow lineup? They were more or less playing a reserve side. That scoreline is an embarrassment and ‘unacceptable’ in Gustard’s own words.

Massive performance needed against Ealing to get at least some semblance of form heading in to Round 1.

I think quins needed to hire a proper rugby coach type DOR to give Gustard a bit of support.
Instead his most senior assistant is Maplecroft.....

Isn’t that what Billy Millard is supposed to be doing?

Is he a coach?
I thought his job is more to handle contracts and back room stuff.
I don't think he has coached since 2013.
