The result is all and Bris will be delighted to have won. They showed enough organisation, resilience, composure and togetherness to suggest they wont be cannon fodder.
Bath - not for the first time - were so much less than the sum of their parts. Cokanasiga showed up well and i thought Attwood was first rate.

I think I’ll just nip over to the prediction thread and do a little editing.

Totally agree with every one saying bath were bad. It makes my comment earlier in the thread look laughable. At the time though if homer had put the ball down (that was embarrassing btw for a professional he was under no pressure what so ever in bone dry basically summer conditions) it seemed like it could go that way.

Then bris sort of realised bath weren't doing any thing. Very odd.

I’ve heard several times from people connected with the team that he’s had enough anyway as Craig constantly interferes and won’t let him do anything off his own bat. Bit of an iffy culture developing down there.

What I'd want to know is do they think the style Blackadder seeks is one they want to continue even under a different coach, or would they look to start over, again

Pretty sure Dempsey's been brought in to take over at the end of the season

If Girv gets tagged with a season like that could he stay in the frame?

Normally I'd say that the owner and his minions who look after then day to day stuff would judge an assistant coach on far more than just the on-pitch stuff, but with Bruce, gods only know.
I also don't see any reason to judge based on one match - unlike everyone else on the Sportnetwork site, who are already assuming that relegation is now confirmed and that we need a new head coach by Wednesday. Mind you, plenty of them said the same last year and still haven't really accepted that we finished 6th not 11th.

IMO Todd's got until Christmas to turn things around, if he hasn't, I suspect he'll be spending some time on gardening leave, or as figure-head coach to do the interviews and otherwise steer clear. I suspect he won't be with us next year regardless, I also suspect that part of Girv's remit is to run the rule over the assistant coaches and his decision on who stays and who goes. Of course, it's hard to tell where hopes and expectations cross from one to the other.

Either way, for someone with Bruce's ego, easier to go coach shopping (to start) after a RWC than before
