Some good kicks, a couple of dodgy ones...all on the back foot. And no ball otherwise to speak of. At a loss as to what more he realistically could have done.

If Wasps ever want to actually compete equally with the best teams in England and abroad they need to find a way to keep their teams together. Difference in cohesion levels tonight was immense. Leinster are incredibly slick, Wasps look like they’re still trying to figure out where everyone should stand and run.

Leinster Bonus Point? A bonus point just for being Leinster? I can get behind that.

Tommy Taylor was easily Wasps best player apart from his lineout issues. Says it all really.

Leinster were just awesome. I was surprised Wasps were still in the game before Sopoaga's knock on.

Edit: Leinster have played bloody well, and Wasps look like a side who've been disrupted by injury and other factors, but Poitre has gone fairly homer and killed this as any sort of contest.
Poite did not kill it though he had his usual quota of iffy decisions. Wasps were not at the races, offered nothing in attack, and never looked remotely like scoring a try. They did defend well in the first half, but predictably ran out of steam. Immense gulf between the teams.

Penalty on the first try, scrum to wasps instead of a yellow to Lima, and that first half looks very different, as does the few minutes after half time.

I admire your (blind) optimism.

The result was unexpected, though the margin took me aback a bit. Very disappointed in Wasps. That was a pretty feeble all round effort, failing to pose any questions with or without the ball.
Leinster a class apart and, even at this early stage, very obviously the team to beat.

I think the citing commissioner will be having a look at Poite for a blatant dive, hope he has good biscuits ready for the hearing.

I think you left out a "not" there ...

Not the least of Leinster's achievements was to take out Romain Twat.

Did I hear right on commentary that it was the Wasps doctor with him? All hands in an emergency but surely the home club would take primary responsibility.

Was it Brookes up at Newcastle who got done for colliding with the ref?

Not sure as I have only seen the clip on Facebook.

That was a push but they still decided the player needed to have an awareness
