14 v 0 now. Ronnie Du Randt makes a tackle in the Glaws 22, straight back to his feet and wins a great turnover, pops the ball to Joe Browning who goes in to score. Costello converts.

Good period from Gloucester, but Tigers defence just keeps forcing the errors. Two maul defence turnover including one 5 metres out and some excellent rush defence has kept Glaws at bay.

Tigers then get one chance and nail it. Lineout 30 out. Quick ball and fast hands getting the ball to the outside and Browning skates in for his second. Costello coverts and is 24 v 0. This Tigers side is bloody good!! Some serious talent on show, and moreover a team that works for each other in every facet.

That’s half time. 24 v 0 to Tigers. Super impressive first half from the young cubs. Glaws are a bloody good team as is reflected by their 8 call ups to the England U18 squad, but this Tigers team looks a whole level above!

Second half kicks off. Costello kicks long, Glaws take and ruck forms where Ilione wins a penalty. Costello kicks it and it’s 27 v 0

Glaws get their first. Nice break in the middle creates a 3 on 1, which Glaws finish off. Their SH going over. Converted too. 27 v 7

Freddie Steward with a superb run ends in a pen to Tigers in half way. Costello puts a beautiful kick 5 meters out.

By far and away the two best sides in the comp here. 15 England U18 squad members between them!

I'm unconvinced there.
"By far and away" =/= "beat their rivals by 1 point at home" "won the pool stages by a bonus point (much worse points difference)" or "has the same number of national U18 squad members as their rival".

Or have watched them play and look a much better unit and individuals in the main.

The one I saw had nothing in it.

If team A is "far and away" better than team B, then I would expect them to look it when sharing a rugby pitch. They didn't.

It is probably worth judging on more than a single game kid
