Not sure if weight makes that much of a difference. Grigg managed to chop the fat French fella as many times as he needed to.

The fact that JD2 is a higher quality player than Grigg is the bigger issue IMO.

As someone else said before, Grigg can get caught out in defence as he often really throws himself about, but I've got issues with several other parts of his game before defence. When everything clicks he can look great, hitting great lines and energetic around the pitch, but I just can't see how he's got enough strings to his bow to offer enough at this level.

I wonder what it is we're going to do up front that is going to leave us better off than against France. I'm not sure there were any particularly bad performers, but the whole approach seemed a bit off.

Had totally glossed over McInally being made captain, which I'm pleased about. Good for him. I hope he can show the sort of destructive carrying he has in the last couple of years.

I am hoping a 9 who can hold the defences attention will help the forwards. Price is always willing to make a break.

That’s not very clear. :geek:

Someone needs to do something to try and get at least an ounce of aggression out of Gray. The old deep heat in the jock strap trick might work.

This made me laugh.

I'll just say in addition to the confusing message above, more of this please.

I was trying to look up if McInally had ever captained the side before and this came up. Nice to see Gray actually knocking people back in there but it's mostly McInally. More of that please.

I never worked out if Johnson is fit or not? I just saw him training in the team run video on the SRU twitter. Don't bother watching it though. It's totally pointless.

Somebody somewhere said dropped in favour of horne. Its enough evidence for me to continue my Toonie hate campaign.

Yeah. I'm going back on what I previously said about not wanting to see Horne/Johnson.

What the fuck is going on with Seymour.

Grigg and Seymour going for the same man instead of having defensive discipline.

Was a decent step but Kinghorn needs to do better too.

So what’s new ? Huff, puff, have most of the territory and possession in the opening exchanges with little to show for it. wales 7 points up with mere seconds in possession

Really poor by Bradbury to be stripped. That last carry was better going over Moriarty.

Are we asking Price to play like Laidlaw?

Sad way for Seymour to leave his 50th game.

A fitting tribute to Paterson’s 100th though.

Our rate of injuries is ridiculous. Going to ruin Glasgow’s season at this rate. Sooner this championship is over the better

Jesus Christ. 10. Hastings 11. Graham 12. Russell 13. Grigg 14. McGuigan 15. Horne?

I mean we’re playing like garbage but what is going on with Welsh guys flying into rucks from an almost offside position. That was mad.

Biggest cheers of the half are when we manage to briefly stop wales from scoring. This is as pathetic as the worst of the bad olds days.

Well, I wasn't expecting much and I haven't been dissapointed. No matter what you all say, size matters.

Also if f jiffy says it might be forwards it means two things:

1. It was forward
2. He has no fear of losing
