No mate unfortunately.

I'm liking the love for Liam Williams, he is a class act, the turnover he won when Sarries were under the cosh was a big turning point I thought, it's just a shame he doesn't get enough ball as every time he does get it he looks like doing something special

Williams is an interesting player. He is not particularly fast but has a knack of getting around his man, with footwork, timing and some great lines. He is not big, but agressive in defence and superb in the air. His rugby intelligence/game reading/anticipation/ball use, are a big part of his success. A nose for the line too, and always seems to rise to the occasion in big games.
Brilliant under the high ball and fights for the ball.
Overall, especially with so much kicking in the modern game, I think Williams is arguably the best back three player in the world. Shame he's Welsh.
Williams has an annoying face, a bit like Mehrtens did.

They need to play him at 15.

Williams to 15. Goode to 10? Faz to... 7?

Was it Faz that put in that monster hit on their 8 running off the scrum?

It was indeed. Fair play to him - that was a belter.

Have you read Brian Moore’s article in today’s Telegraph (I don’t subscribe, it was my free article of the week or month or whatever!) criticising Leinster supporters for booing the refs decisions? Is it me or are their fans particularly one-eyed, always bawling at the ref to award penalties, red or yellow cards etc? I know all supporters get behind their team but Leinster’s do seem to be a bit over the top.

It was his best defensive display I've seen. It was also fascinating to see how little he touched the ball in the first hour or so.

I can’t remember if I said this on here or not but I watched the quick highlights of a Saracens win the other week and somehow the fly-half didn’t feature in any of the important/scoring plays. It just seems so improbable. Goode was at 10 for most of them so I figured Farrel had withdrawn.

Alex Goode's post match celebrations saw him on Sunday still in full kit, boots and all, having been solidly on the piss since the end of the game. Quality work, Mr Goode.

I suspect he's not due to play this weekend.

He was responsible for the very nice sleight of hands that put Maitland in.

Even some use of the arm.

Though whether one should admire Sarries' intellectual exercise in how big an overlap one can develop it without deciding to use it I don't know

I’m not trying to bash him but got to say I was underwhelmed to see it, having read a few comments about how magical it was. Seemed like very smart okay from Goode, but maybe I’m being unfair.

I'm still wondering if Farrell is playing with an injured shoulder, and is out there as an influencer rather than player

It was good, but what one should expect from a professional player.

In favour of another thread arguing about Farrell. I was expecting at the bare minimum a comment on the bumbag.

That's not a bumbag, it's a schlongsack and you’ve given yourself away. They sell them at Gap but UnderArmour have the finest examples.

I'm starting to reconsider my opinion on him playing for England after that display.

Yep. Makes Brown’s snarling and surly demeanour look like kiss chase in the playground. A knighthood must be in the offing.

Burt tried to make him a 2nd 10 playing fullback to no avail (bar a too easy win over Fiji) and Eddie has tried to play 2 10s in Ford/Farrell and Farrell/Slade, but now Sarries are boring their way to wins with a system involving Farrell and Goode we don't find England interested (probably for the best)

Well it's been a while now, but with Europe's best two club teams having just met in a competitive final it's time to take another minute by minute look at the match and see if I can't find some ways to agree With Stephen Jones and Stuart Barnes without realising to look an even bigger prat than usual.
