It could well have been taken out of context though.
I take your point but not sure irony is quite the right word. There's a sense we've finally acknowledged the same repeating issues and how stupid it looks to do the big talking (winning the world cup, fastest team in the world) without remotely back it up.

Ten minutes to game time, still on train on way to pub, would feel a sense of impending doom if I wasn't so apathetic about the game.

Harris will have his hands full with the Italian 13 but I favour Johnson to have a good game running at Canna.

Is MB going to come to Price's rescue again?

Another of his classic, pointless clangers.

Not sure what you're on about there but okay.

Clunky stuff so far.

Pretty sure you were quick to defend him the last couple of weeks. Could be a mix up though - apologies if so.

He will leak a minimum of 2 game changing mistakes every pressure game. The more pressure, the more he wilts.

Falling over and knocking the ball on when we're camped on their try line is a clanger.

Is it me or has Cummings been picking up quite a few penalties?

Also this Hogg at 5 thing isn't working positionally. Ritchie has spoken to the ref a couple of times but not with the authority and time a captain would be allowed.

That was Bradbury. Though Price had a bit of a moment and got caught at the base a couple of phases before.

I have defended Price in a sense, but he's made a bunch of stupid mistakes in the last few games. Particularly ones like that where he gets caught faffing about.

I've questioned if Horne's club form will translate across to international level but I would have had much more of a look so far too.

And there's your classic Price kick out on the full under no pressure whatsoever.

My mistake.

Price has done this for years though.

Price is not having a good game.

Italy are letting us/him off the hook.

Wasn't someone on here talking about Hogg being short of pace these days?

World class from Hoggy.

I know this won't be popular but world class antics from Hoggy, Russell, etc do not make up for the lack of an effective game-plan.

The one and only plan it's possible to discern from us these days is to rely on individual brilliance.

Oh look. Not putting a single player in to the rucks came back on us again.
