That is true. Jones in his prime was a beast, fast, skillful, and hard. McCaw doesn't come close as an athlete, but is clearly mad with his fitness and very good at reading a game.

Don’t think there’s ever been a flanker quite as good as the 87’ version of Jones since tbh ( and that includes McCaw) - alongside being as quick as a test three quarter he was also a fantastic line out jumper (in the time pre-lifting) and despite being barely 6’ he could jump as high as guys 5 or 6 inches taller than him!
