Saints clung on and, given the disruption before and during the game, they should be pretty satisfied. They were collectively out on their feet at the end. Ballsy stuff from Biggar, staying on when crocked.
Considering how lenient he dealt with Saints defence of the rolling maul and how many penalties Saints conceded (Tonks was the 7th consecutive penalty) I don't think there can be a complaint.

Did you see the stat they showed early in the game that (in the kick/pass/run choices) Ford has the highest kick ratio of any FH in the league?
Give our lack of reliable and coherent attack it's the easiest way to get our way into the opposition half. If worked as well we had lots of possession and territory we just didn't make the most of it.

He looked off his feet to me but I didn't see a replay so can't be sure.

Both are tactical issues - we don't have a cohesive enough attack to provide him enough options yet.

And, even if we're generous and say that it wasn't a penalty, the ref was playing penalty advantage from the scrum, so it was a choice of who got yellowed rather than whether one was due.

He's not remotely South African qualified IIRC. I believe the family name comes (distantly) from the Netherlands rather than Boers.

Have the England players returning disrupted Tigers a bit too much?
