Not exactly. I think he said he ‘feels’ Australian or something like that.
I’d have no qualms about going after him. Genetically, he is a product of Australia and Italy, but he is 100% a product of the English rugby system and has spent most of his life here.
Also, I think he’d have to be in Australia to be in with a shout or being picked for them. His brother Tom is on his way to the Reds. How he gets on might influence Louis. Even then, Tom is a 10 - a position where the Aussies have few prospects, they’re better stocked in the back three.
