To be fair to Porter the little in and out line he ran before breaking the first tackle made all the space. That was straight out the Murimurivalu playbook and was very nice.
He owed us that one after rushing up to open the hole for Luke James's try. Great finish though.
Burns is so frustrating to watch. Has done some really nice things, but murdered three excellent bits of attacking ball with unnecessary kicks that were terribly executed - once charged down and two going dead. Whitcombe's looking solid on the loose.
I agree on Burns, he's just a bit impatient. Compare that to Ford who will happily play many phases to slowly prise the cracks open in a defence and you see why one is first choice and one is back up.

yep...as said, usual mix. So talented, but just doesnt concentrate.

That's a bit optimistic. It was as clear a block from a player offside to a guy running after the man with the ball as you'll find. You get away with holding your line when the ball is in the air not when it's in play.
Dumb penalty by Reffell and Sale grab a try from lineout. Poor maul defence. Burns missing that kick to touch was costly.
