Forget who won, what a great game that was

Now Im delighted with the result, but the manner of the victory was just epic. Gutsy defence creaking under enormous pressure in teh first 25 minutes. then a moment of pure rugby intelligence from Murray. Second half the territory and possession in our favour we were unlucky not to stretch the lead by more. Shouting at Owens for the forward pass he didn't give (yeah I have a very short memory) and then that moment of scintillating brilliance from Conway

What a result but what a performance

That was quite an ugly aul win in Bloemfontein last night. Cheetahs are a good outfit and not easy to get past, particularly up on the high veldt and I can imagine there are a few busted lungs and aching legs this morning. Cracking cameo from Conor to come on and almost score at will; and his hoof for the winning points was evidence of just another, ever stronger, string to his pretty powerful bow.

Tickets, flights, hotel and kidneys are all now ready for next weekend in Bordeaux.

It was

Not bad to come back from 14 nil down though.
Murray was the difference, an immediate and significant impact by scoring himself but also by bringing teh backline into it much more
Sad to say Zebo and JJ looked out of sorts and POM seemed to be getting himself into trouble with the ref more than usual.

Great news!

https://www.independent.ie/sport/rugby/ ... 0On%20Site

"Keith Earls looks set to give Munster a huge boost by returning for next weekend's Champions Cup semi-final against Racing 92.

The winger was expected to be ruled out for six weeks after picking up a knee injury in the Grand Slam win over England last month, but the Irish Independent understands that Earls is very much ahead of schedule in terms of his comeback."

I shall post the warm, vine-ed breath of Bordeaux on here until the vine-ed breath renders me pissed-ed.
