Thompson is in wales with the scarlets so isn’t obliged to be released
Graham is in Newcastle so can’t get released

Wilson deserves his 50th cap but a chance to give Crosbie a chance for me

In any other year I'd agree. He is looking sharper every game. But this is a time that calls for someone to be parachuted in at 2 days notice and pick up the baton and run. I don't think it is time for a new cap.

Thomson might still be concussed. Doubt the Welsh would hold him back.
Stevedog spot on re Graham.
Crosbie I had great hopes for, but blunt truth is that apart form a few decent carries last week he has been poor to anonymous this season every time he has played.

I think your being overly harsh, the entire Edinburgh team looked like a fart in a spacesuit for most of the season so not just him

Ive high hopes that they are starting to turn things around and think they will be back up the table next year but, if Cockers does stick (and i don think he will) we need a better rotation policy

G Turner never getting a game for Edinburgh and then becoming 3rd choice scottish hooker demonstrates that we really need a much more willingness to blood players earlier and more often

Ive decided to get a season ticket for the new stadium, after being stuck inside for most of a year the thought of being out in Edinburgh every second Friday freezing my nuts off is really attractive

That's a great point.

Additionally, I think an injury like this can make us reassess where we are at with Fagerson. In the last few games I think he has gone from being in by default to performing very well. Hopefully he isn't out for long

Best of luck guys. I think if you keep it tight you can frustrate them into making mistakes, and you have the advantage (well, hopefully it's an advantage) that they're likely to waste easy penalty points chasing tries. Confound the bookies and win it!

And now they’ve talked about the aerial battle a bit. Hmm. France by 16.

Borderline but we'll take that. Surprised France aren't having a go at our line out.

Er vdm scoring a pick and go? Fair enough.

I think, if we keep the ball as far away as possible from Fickou (sp?), who looks properly in the mood, we might do ok?

Apart from losing it just there, we are doing everything that could be asked of us. Those kicks into the corner have been delicious.

We really need to be sharper off the scrum. Get it back to 8 and away.

That is so dull by Turner and then either Skinner or Ritchie. There are so many needless penalties there in that one attacking set.

Pish by Van der Merwe. We know he is weak in defence but he should be melting him.

Too much pressure to absorb, too many penalties we've let France back into this

What is it about big wingers that means that they so often look pish in defense? I can get accept getting stepped, but big Duhan got that all wrong

Just pathetic indiscipline, gave them an easy 80m, drew a yellow card, then started chucking handbags about

Fucking pathetic

This last 15 min has been rotten.

There is no.need for some of these penalties. That one there by Hogg is so bad.

Penalties given away through pressure is fine but doing daft shit like that is so so stupid and so so Scottish at the minute.
