I know it's a spelling mistake and not even a good pun but I did chuckle.

Agreed, Halfpenny doesn't look the same player anymore. Even his place kicking is starting to show signs of creaking a wee bit.

It's not often you see an Italian run at a gap in support of the man with the ball... It was Parisse tbf...
Phase of play on 10.30 showing how naive they are with the ball in hand still... a few metres out and a panicked miss pass leads to a knock on. No need...
They are looking much improved though.

The more I watch France the more gutted I feel we didn't get a result over there. They really are gash.

Maul looks good for Italy but Price could have some joy around the fringes. I reckon Russell might dig out a few chips over that line too.

Absolutely. They are big munters, but I thought you should have beat them.

I'm pretty sure that some variant of the phrase "a very rare mistake from Italian skipper Parisse" has been used in every game so far.

The scrum dominance & unfortunate injuries didn't help. We don't have the depth to cover 1st & 2nd choice LH missing ultimately. Had we had Nel and Dickinson fit I'm confident we'd have gotten a result.

It will be tough as they will be hurting and absolutely desperate for a result but we really should be trouncing them.

Italy collapse like a flan at the 50 minute mark. Again.

You'd think that O'Shea will make progress on that for next year but it's been an issue for years.

I think I've heard it in every game he's played for years. He is quite overrated at the same time as still being a great player.

That is a nonsense decision in the Wales v France game. He's clearly making a tackle imo

Was thinking the same thing myself, especially considering that it was only a penas for exactly the same thing at the other end.

Wales are a hard team to love aren't they? I can't help but feel if Italy had pulled our their no ruck tactic against Wales the implosion might have been spectacular.

Some really inconsistent reffing from Barnes in this.

Best result for us right now but Barnes will get a roasting in the French press

Aye, so far I'd say they would be right to complain about it.

What's the best result for us here? Do we need to worry about the PD? Or is it that they need to get the bonus?

If wales don't get bp, only Ireland can take second spot
If France win they take second spot on Point difference. England cost us a lot.

30 seconds, 5m out.... Surely France can't butcher this? They'll win.
