They're f*cking awful lmao. I can't even begin to imagine how many errors the ABs will force out of this 'attack'. Defence poor against even more of a scratch team too.

I hate to say it but Seymour and Watson are propping Hogg up right now.

Two kick offs. Two disasters for us. Well done Faletau.

How to butcher a try 101. I thought kiwis were good at this link play stuff? He had two options!

That was superb from Faletau.

Not able to watch the game but thought comment on the BBC was quite amusing. Apparently the lions second rows have missed more tackles in the first 15 minutes than Jonny Gray did all 6N. Doesn't sound like it's going well.

Are these barbarians pro or semi pro? Any amateurs? I thought a couple of the knocks looked like ones a seasoned professional would be able to take with ease.

They're shite and Hoggy just got bounced attempting to tackle a break. The bloke fell over from the impact luckily...
Bryn Gatland appears to be kicking most takes into the space behind the midfield/wingers as the Lions only seem to retain half the balls. He's out playing Sexton atm.

They're mostly semi-pro. There are a few Super Rugby players in there though.
Mini-Gats was recently called into a Super Rugby side and will likely be a proper Blues squad member next year.

Aye he looks like he knows what he's doing. He's playing well with what he's got - kind of what Scotland need in a fly half!
Think Hogg is playing himself out of the test picture. He screwed up a sure try for Watson and a foot in touch to try keep that kick in play.. come on.

That kick was about 3m out of play Sexton!

Relax, they'll want to play well but I think everyone out there has proved enough against far better teams to be cut a little slack in the first half of a friendly in a new team against a semi pro side

If one were to count up the number of Lions that have impressed so far, you'd be hard-pressed to get more than can be counted on one hand.

Bit of a shit show atm.
Faletau and Teo decent, and mini-Gatland having fun.

Teo crabbed across the pitch into the gap when Hogg ran that line that sent him over the line. Can't agree. Teo's a big bloke, he'll always break tackles and make metres. Not a clever player.

Not surprising considering they arrived 3 days ago. No aclimatization but gatland will use this as a stick to drop players that he doesn't want near the test team.

Bryn Gatland pulled off... mental. Injured, HIA or idiocy?

Dunno about your commentators, but the NZ crew seemed baffled by it as well.

That's the second time the Lions have illegally stolen the ball in the maul. Interesting interpretation.

Eeeeesh, that was a bit rough.
Hiding to nothing for the Lions in that game to be honest, but still, it's hard to tell what the lions game plan was. Might have been lack of one, but more likely poor execution.

That was bloody hard viewing even for a team just off the plane.

Laidlaw did what Laidlaw does.
He really does have a glacially slow pass. Not good enough for Test rugby and hope Price kicks on over the summer tour and into next season.
Still he wasn't alone. There weren't many Lions that stood up today in a scrappy game, with the BaBas making a mess of the breakdown and throwing the ball about.
