The concern I have over Bradbury is that a dislocated shoulder can have longer term implications. Obviously he has access to top medical care, but when I did it, both NHS and private consultants (albeit a private doctor at Shawfair Park on behalf on NHS) told me that at my age range of 20-30 there was a 50/50 chance I'd do it again and then I'd have the operation.

Did all the rehab, got the best physio I could (SPACE clinic in Edinburgh is excellent btw) and 3 games into the comeback, boom out fell my shoulder running to a ruck.

Clearly Bradbury's medical needs will be managed very closely but I do worry when I see a dislocated shoulder.

I think it depends on the severity and mode of the dislocation. My son dislocated his a few years ago, but with the right physio, and him keeping up strengthening exercises, it hasn't reoccurred.

I just hope it doesn't become an ongoing issue for him. Ironically he is probably seeing the same physio's as I did as I know SPACE deal with Scotland squads (although maybe not Edinburgh).

Yeah my one was a bad one. When I did it my chin could touch my shoulder just by dipping my head.

When’s the team named, and is there any word on Dunbar? I can’t remember what happened with him.

Also, how likely is it that Hogg will make a surprise return for the last game or two?

Not hopeful of either but not sure we have any solid dates. I thought Hogg was definitely out though.

Probably Thursday?

No idea.

Even if able, I am not sure it is worth the risk for Hogg.

Wilson and Seymour co-captains. Lol.

I guess Dunbar is fit then...

Graham on the bench is interesting.

Whoops. Co-vice-captains. Of course.

McInally as skipper is good though I think. Let’s hope his throwing holds up, Edinburgh lineout stats are good this year.

I like it. Its not too far off our first team. We always knew Hasting was going to play.
That Bench could do wonders. Fagerson on a tired defence will hopefully be very enjoyable.
Who is covering 9 at Glasgow?

I'll be up to watch the match but I'm not overly interested in this match. Disagree with tests outside the window.

I agree with you on that, but the main reason I'll miss it is that I'll be at a mate's memorial service. Daft bugger went and had heart failure on a cycling holiday in Spain.

Thanks guys. He was the fittest person I know, but obviously he had used up his quota of heartbeats.

Anyway, I didn't mean to put a dampener on this. How do we think this game is going to go? I'm still a wee bit pessimistic after our poor performance in Cardiff in the Spring. Good to see Dunbar back and he might take some pressure off of Hastings.

Sorry to hear that.

I get all the criticisms of a fourth test and agree with them but I'm as excited as always for this. I like the team too. Ball carrying is an issue but it's not significantly worse than always as Ritchie has the same Barclay knack of being good for his size. McInally has helped with this too. I think that Wales are probably 60/40 favourites though not seen their team yet

Can't shake the feeling of trepidation about a trip to the Principality.

It’s a weird wales team.
Feels very much like a gatland team designed to batter us into submission.

It’s a game where we could lose if we don’t deal with tuperic and Moriarty but also if we let parks play then we could be dealing Davis and north getting ball wide at pace.

never expected to see lydiate back in a wales shirt.
Strange that stef Evans is ever best the team , I thought he had Bernini playing Scarlets b team all season.

Almost has a ring of if wales expect to win it in the first 60

I read it as an attempt to develop our squad, rather than thrash Scotland. However, including for instance AWJ and Parkes suggests Gatland is keen not to lose, so there is no wholesale experimentation.

Luigi Bernini, stand out player in the Italian under-nines. It is rumoured that his great granny once went to Llandudno on holiday, so we can count him as Welsh.

(No, I don't know either what Steph Evans is doing there on current form.)
