Kpoku been taught by Itoje in the art of hand clap!
His time will come - same as Ludlow's did. Smith aside you can say that for all the players on that pitch

Joseph is good, but he does play like the big lad in every U13 side.
But usually at U20’s that big lad is pretty useless.
He's a mix tbh.

And funny enough Smith has been pretty lacklustre

Just hope the good ones do get a chance and as early as sensible. Hinkley is exactly the sort of 7 England need to be bringing through, to put pressure on the Currys etc. But good signs, as always, for the pipeline.

quite....
A quick check and Hinkley has made 4 appearances for Glos senior team. Only one this season though.
Agreed he has a bright future if given the chance.

I guess with Gloucesters back row the majority can play 6/7/8 really if they need to.

so...they empty the bench unnecessarily, and now two backs are limping, coaches do need to think.

Yes, a strange chap, indeed. Looked out of his depth.

some very odd officiating. Ref not helped by his TMO.
Englands scrum was awesome and decisive. All the props were excellent. Gros was outstanding for France at the JWC last year and Street had him on toast. Some effort. Hinkley looks a different player from last season. Hill is quality.
The backs were a bit of a mixed bag, seldom putting together any fluent passing. Thought some of the timing was awry.
France have some talent (Carbonel looks top class) and will be contenders at the JWC in the summer.

Lazy as fuck. He’s got all the talent in the world and the work ethic of a corpse

Not unusual to see second year U20’s playing differently to their first year at this level.

He’s much more of a 6 really. His technique at the breakdown is not great, nor his link play. He is though, a real talent. We are lacking a 7 at this age group after being spoilt over the last three years.

well he was excellent over the ball yesterday, and it was his link play i noticed as being excellent. So maybe he is getting better, oddly for a young chap.
