I wouldn't go that far. Couple of nice breaks though.
Really? I was more thinking that his passing has actually been quite good.

Or have I missed some of the usual howlers? I'm not sure I've been paying as much attention as I should.

Bear in mind I haven't considered any of his performances particularly good for several years.
I'm with you - there's been a couple of ankle passes, but far fewer than usual, and the rest have been pretty crisp.

He's being made to look like a god by Nic White though. The England defensive press is moving faster than some of those passes.

Eng 33 - 16 Aus, Pen Faz 73 mins.

Should be it, to be fair.

Don't worry, he'll probably have another performance like vs Argentina some time in the next couple of years.

For the first 60 minutes though he was so important to the attack, stepping in to distribute. Mind you, if that's what they wanted they should have selected Goode back there.

Nobody can argue with Jones's selection now. Great win.

What the hell TMO? "It's not a clear forward pass" - the receiver is literally standing a metre in front of the passer before the ball is released!

This feels weird to say, but... Well done Garces? That doesn't sound right.

FT Eng 40 - 16 Aus.
Good controlled performance, relatively error free.
Bring on Ireland !..

Farrell was certainly better than he has been. Not sure that means I wouldn’t go back to the previous midfield next week though.

I wouldn't but whatever Jones does I won't argue. It's the knock-out stage. Winning is all.

I thought Curry was immense. His tackling was superb and halted several attacks single-handedly. His best performance with a 6 on his back.
