Five debutants. Was never going to be overly coherent. Smith and Randall have run down some blind alleys which hasn't helped the forwards they need some structure in order to keep up with those two firecrackers.

The front row looks solid and should grow into the game a little more after half time as England's attack becomes more coherent. McInally and Ewels are meh, Underhill doing well, Ludlow doesn't look like a long term option and Chick needs to get involved more.

Those haven’t been blind alleys, though. They’ve been one out. When smith was turned over, where were the forwards? It was right next to the last ruck. He should expect at least as good displays as for his club team considering Eddie’s focus on floor time.
