Saints new home kit is a good one. A re-hashing of the 2008-10 kit that was recently voted by supporters as the favourite past kit

Nice retro throwback there. Was that the same kit as the Euro final and Prem winning side?Adam_P wrote:Saints new home kit is a good one. A re-hashing of the 2008-10 kit that was recently voted by supporters as the favourite past kit
Tigers have decided against doing similar with their playing shirts and have instead launched a Captain's Collection which allows you to purchase re-issues of some classic shirts from the club's history.

You can’t go wrong with the old classics. Please tell me it’s cotton!

The 2000 Heineken cup jersey was Saints' best, rackon. Pat Lam was captain, right?

He was and that is a good shirt. For my 30th this year I treated myself to the Saints shirt from the season I was born - just hoops and the badge, lovely stuff. No idea why they don't offer a copy of that as a cotton replica in the shop

Completely agree with this. All my Bedford shirts are cotton other than the latest one which I bought to help covid depleted coffers.Adam_P wrote:No idea why they don't offer a copy of that as a cotton replica in the shop

Tigers have offered that, the quality is supposed to be very good but for that price it should be.

Well they could have gone with purple swirls on a green background, but then I suspect that despite the imaginative nature, people would have questioned the relationship between Wasps and the design.Digby wrote:Ah, a honeycomb structure. Marketing are such imaginative folk

They've also incorporated an idea which uses space exceptionally well on a flat surface, or put another way it looks good on paper, and that too celebrates something about Wasps. Truly these are marvellous folkRaggs wrote:Well they could have gone with purple swirls on a green background, but then I suspect that despite the imaginative nature, people would have questioned the relationship between Wasps and the design.Digby wrote:Ah, a honeycomb structure. We now have BigDug. And Laithwaites, and Ssangyyong.
It's undeniably Gloucester, I quite like it. not a great departure from tradition.

What is the relevance, if any, of the pattern to the red hoops?Gloskarlos wrote:

I don’t want to show off but yes. There are now 22 contracted players: 14 forwards and 8 backs.Puja wrote:Can Bedford field a full XV by now, Mells?

Presumably Saints will provide players to fill the holes in the squad?Puja wrote:Ah, a 6:1 bench. Classic.Mellsblue wrote:I don’t want to show off but yes. There are now 22 contracted players: 14 forwards and 8 backs.Puja wrote:Can Bedford field a full XV by now, Mells?

I don't really support any of the GP sides tbh. But I buy the odd bit of clothing from a number of sides. Moseley are my main side, but I'd certainly watch Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield too
