Got to be a yellow there.
5 yards out and players available, killing that is a definite binning.

1st half was dire but the 2nd half has been a pretty good advert.

Harsh penalty there. Not entirely sure what else Robinson could possibly have done to get out of the way there.
JVP's turned out to be quite a good full-back in the end. He's claimed three difficult high balls and came into the line pretty well.

indeed. He was limping, but Healey seems adamant

Not quite sure how Tigers blew a bonus point from that game.

Sale upped their intensity, and Tigers changes I`d think.

Tigers were bloody awful in the second half. I know I've said that already but they were so bad it needed repeating. Burns must have been injured there's no way we'd have had Wigglesworth walking through the last 20 minutes otherwise. Burns must have picked up the injury shortly before half time as he didn't turn up in the second half before going off injured either.
Matt Scott seemingly couldn't organise the defence from 13 with Sale casually strolling down his channel at will. So many errors it was painful as we chased the game far too much in the last 10 mins.
Credit to Sale they upped the tempo after looking well off the boil in the first half. McGinty was good and the du Preez twins were colossal up front.

MacGinty is a clever FH with vision and a great all-round game. A pity for Ireland that he slipped through the net at an early stage and wound up playing for the USA. With Jackson out of the reckoning, he'd be a good successor to Sexton.

The good news is that gap between first and second has only narrowed by 1 point, but Tigers definitely need a bp win next Saturday against Wuss to get back on song.

The game turned on the subbing of Burns. Also Sale picked up when Warr came on. Reed, another sub, finished his try with aplomb. That lad is quick.
Enjoyed Roebuck's try.
The duPreez bros were central for Sale who were poor for the first 40 odd minutes of the game.
Stirring game for the neutral.

Agree on Warr, I was a little surprised he didn't start. Certainly made a real impact off the bench.
Plenty of good tries in that game for the neutral.

I reckon Tigers would’ve won if JVP had started.

If JVP had been able to replace Wigglesworth on 50/55 as planned I think we might have managed to sneak it.
