Yeah Proctor recently re-signed, which was a pleasant surprise. Thought he might be off with Boyd.

My shopping list for next season would be 2 big scrummaging props and a hard carrying centre.
Is Proctor still about next season? I would think a good no 8 would help.
And whilst I like Boyd, Saints have been maddening to watch.
To be fair they covered the 8 problem when they signed Augustus, it's just a bit obvious he's going to carry quite so much. They could do with another obvious threat somewhere on the pack or if he and Harrison could develop a one two type strategy that might help.

This. 10/10 for intent but 6/10 for results. You always feel like they’re so close to cracking it but they never quite get there. Perhaps they can pull a reverse Quins and subtract a Kiwi and rely on the in house coaching team to move from a battle for fourth to the title. That said, with their ‘Strategic Partnership’ with Bedford they are only inculcating the ‘look pretty but lack substance’ game plan in their youngsters.

He's looked solid whenever I've seen him though I don't watch Saints that closely. He could do with a few more stand out performances but at the minute it does seem a bit like Kalamafoni when he was at Tigers and he was to obvious as the target so ended up doing a lot of carries into some big double hits. That sort of thing really saps the strength.
