Yeah you must be right, Farrell is a dirty player who goes out to maim opposition players, especially the small weaker ones like Estherhuizen and Basham.
I withdraw my comment about Tompkins.

Just look at Scotland today...intensity and not afraid to run.
That intensity is what we need to find.

Helped by some very dubious reffing decisions.

Can't see how you don't call the VDM tackle as a seatbelt, which is penalty try and a yellow.
Though the French basics are frankly all over the place.

Aldritt largely keeping France in this single handed.
Or he was anyway.

The cohesion, which the Scots have in abudnence, is what we lack.

Does anybody know the name of the hairspray used by Rowe? Incredible stuff.
And the French replacement’s tight shorts are a thing of beauty

Scotland really starting to scrape the barrel for different ways to lose rugby games.

You’d think I wouldn’t find it shocking anymore but that really was a modern spin on an old classic.

I thought Scotland showed how stupid the kick tennis can be rather than trying to score tries. Warburton summed it up with his comment about playing not to lose rather than playing to win. In the end, blaming the ref was trivial compared with a lack of positivity for the first 35 minutes of the second half. A lesson!

Definitely got the wrong side of the refereeing decisions - the penalty try was a comedy decision, givne that there were more England players with hands on the ball than Welshmen - but we're the architects of our own downfall here. Chessum putting in the unnecessary smash to an already tackled playedRoots was a muppet for dropping the maul when it wasn't going to be a try, Ford taking an unnecessary sidestep when he wasn't planning to kick the ball for another 10 seconds, Dingwall's missed some basic one-one-one tackles, some lazy offside in midfield penalties.
We should be dominating this and we're somehow contriving not to.

As predicted, our back-row cannot cope with Reffell. Lots of dumb stuff does not help.

Its pretty poor fare. Some dull decisions, silly errors and poor execution. Earl did well to score his try and we saw an excellent defensive set on the half hour mark.
Must do better.

England lucky to have the 5 points. Wales dominating, which is odd. England have the players and should win at a canter, but somehow. they just aren't.

Maybe, Gatland has out-thought Borthwick?

Has the second half consisted solely of scrums?
