Scotland showed that if you play with a bit of pace, the Italian defence can struggle a bit.

Our front row must be knackered. Yet Gatland seems reluctant to replace them as he must know his bench isn’t going to cope.

So why pick such an inexperienced bench?

Well there’s been more spirit in the second half but the accuracy is still missing.

Think the game has gone now, it’s just about pride.

Italy have ruled the breakdown. To be fair we have made it easy for them but all the same it’s been poor.

Commentators talking about the lack of deception and they are right. It’s old style Gatlandball without the big ball carriers.

Mason Grady has done alright in fairness. Not really tested in defence but he has made ground.

Our replacement front row on. For what we are about to receive

No hiding from this result. There were positives at times in previous games but not today.

So that’s what happens when we keep the ball and don’t fuck it up

Absurd game.

Wow. What a botch from Cotter.

Nice try at the end but too little too late. Well played Italy they thoroughly deserved to win that and I think they could have scored more.

The final score just doesn’t reflect the Italy dominance.

Yep. The score may have been close but in reality we were no where for 60 minutes at h9me vs Italy.

We can’t play without go forward ball. So we need players who can carry on the pitch throughout. Wainwright can’t do it all on his own.

Was sat wondering where Wales had picked up their other 11 points from.

One of the worst performances from Wales since the 90s. Utter shit except for the last 10 minutes when Italy were already celebrating. 2 years ago we lost only because we were chasing the 4th try. Today we were schooled by Italy. We saved the worst till last. Jesus. Gatland needs to go. But it won't happen.

Exactly. If I'd had that bench forced on me I'd have delayed, but Gatland picked them. Idiot.

Jesus. And then Grady, the man who should have started all these matches really makes a difference. Well done Gatland.

With hindsight, perhaps Gatland should have started Rowlands with Jenkins moving to six. Good to see young Lloyd hitting the target with his throws.

Mann was totally anonymous so a second row at 6 couldn’t have hurt.

Gatland has a contract to the next world cup. Can Wales afford to keep him that long? There's a number of bright talents still in that squad.

Is Gatland safe?
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Dyer, Grady, Tomos Williams, wainwright, Reffell, Jenkins, Rowlands.Winnett. Dee.

Build the team around them.

Sheedy to return with Costelow or Lloyd on the bench.

Martin looks like he has some promise.
