Sadly,...I think Patchell is increasingly looking like a player that doesn't fit with the overall gameplan. How long Wales can continue with this situation is a blydi mystery to me. The poor fecker is turning into the Welsh version of Dai Duckham.
If his defence wet better then I think he would make a tidy centre. I'd like to consider him at flyhalf but I haven't seen him play there for what seems an age.

Poor old Patchell is in danger of going the way of most utility payers. i.e. Nowhere (cf. James Hook). It's time to nail down a slot for him and stick with it. I'd like to see him at fly half (but think he might make a decent enough12, though he would need time there). He is fast, has a big boot, is a natural footballer and willing to run the ball. Biggar has done well for Wales. He's a superb goal kicker, line kicker and defender and is probably the best in the world at chasing and reclaiming his own up-and-unders. But he plays deep, hardly threatens the gain line and does not get the best out of the outside backs. He does not look like a natural attacking FH. That said, the outside backs themselves need a bit of a shakeup, especially in midfield. The Jamie Roberts bosh approach has run its course.

He will be playing at 10 for the Scarlets next season...

I've always thought his D was pretty good. It kinda got lost in the sh*tstorm of Cardiff being so poor.
